Most
of these 'artistic' photographs were taken in and around Beijing.
As a photographer in Beijing, I seek objects (whether they are people,
cars, buildings or whatever) with strong graphic qualities and bold
colors. Normally, I don't resort to editing images drastically in
Photoshop. The shot of Mao and his books, for example, is a double
exposure.
